ScorporoIVA.it started as an Italian VAT (IVA) tool and now covers several jurisdictions, including the United Arab Emirates. The goal is simple: let anyone remove or add VAT correctly, without spreadsheets or sign-ups, and understand the rules behind the numbers.
The UAE section is based on the standard 5% rate administered by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). The calculator runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How the calculations work
To remove VAT we divide the gross amount by 1.05; to add VAT we multiply the net by 1.05. Results are rounded to two decimals for display, while the underlying maths uses full precision. See the VAT formula for the details.
